Duliajan College Lecturer gained International recognition.

Dr. Dip Saikia, a Sr. lecturer in Physics of Duliajan College attended “17th Symposium on Thermo-physical Properties”- a reputed well-established series of international conference held on from 21st June to 26th June 2009 at Colorado University, USA
In this International event, Dr. Saikia presented his research paper on detrimental effects of moisture absorption of natural fiber plastic composites and drew attention of scientific community. His paper has accepted for publication in “International Journal of Thermo-physics”, a renowned Springer, USA publication. Professor Mario E. Rodriguez of National Autonomous University of Mexico and Professor Carlo Santulli of Sapienza University of Rome came forward separately to carry collaboration research work on natural composite material with Dr. Dip Saikia.
Dr. Dip Saikia has already nominated as executive member of the International Organizing Committee of Asian Thermo-physical Properties Conference to be held at Beijing China on October 19-22, 2010.
